| The scenery along the Mesilau trail which we took to get to the top of Kinabalu is very beautiful. The shorter Timpohon trail used by most of the climbers is not as scenic. Here we are at a small waterfall along the trail. Water was a bit to chilly for a dip. |

| The plant life on Kinabalu is quite different from what we usually see. It is a Montane forest with stunted trees and other unique flora as compared to the lowland Rainforest. Here we see one of the species of Pitcher plant found on Mount Kinabalu. |

| Here I am at the Peak of Mount Kinabalu which is 4097 metres high. It was not as cold as Daniel says. He should have stayed for the sunrise as the view from the peak is awesome. |
