Been awhile since I checked on the "Percivals In Malaysia" website. It seems to be down. Ah well. I'll have to spend some time doing it up properly as a blog and photo gallery so maybe it's just as well that I redo the whole thing.

I've started up a new website for the 'Percivals in Malaysia' at http://percivalsinmalaysia.com

I decided that using a CMS (Content Management System) like XOOPS is overkill for a family website. So I decided to try out with just a photo album and a forum i.e. photo album for all your pics and a forum to text chat. The two functions ae not integrated yet i.e. you have to log in seperately for both and are open to the internet at large. Hopefully I can implement some integration between between both and also close off the public access i.e. you have to log-in to either see the photos and start topics/comment on the forum.

Just a couple of pics taken at our church anniversary some time ago. I made a donation box for the new church fund which was launched then. Grandma was down in KL at that time and also attended church. Julia's sunday-school kids did a dance routine and Julia even sang in a group. We had a free lunch after.

We've just finshed a long holiday break here after Deepavali and Hari Raya which occurred almost consecutively one after the other. It was difficult going back to work after a one week break!

One day this site will go down for a short while as I move yet again to another web software called Drupal. This has much better user and document management and I intend to install a proper photo album software called Coppermine that I can integrate with Drupal. I'll still keep the same userids and passwords..

Guess who won 2nd place in the Renaissance Halloween Pumpkin Carving Competition....ME !!! I carved a cat and named it SALEM.
